October 22-24, 2010
“Scripture is a light, and shows us the true way, both what to do and what to hope for, and a defense from all error, and a comfort in adversity that we despair not, and strengthens us in prosperity that we sin not.”
William Tyndale (1494 – 1536)

Join us again this year in Central Illinois, October 22-24, for the 2010 Reformation Day Faire! This year, we will learn from the lives of men like William Tyndale and John Wycliffe, who sacrificed all they had for one overwhelming passion: to see that God’s words in Scripture be conveyed to the hands and into the ears, and ultimately to the heart, of the common people. They stood against the authorities of their day to communicate the freedom of life that can only come through Jesus Christ. Come and learn to stand for truth! Plus, make new friends with Christian families from around the nation!
Our speakers and musical guests include…
Kevin Swanson
Kevin is a second-generation homeschooler, published author, radio personality, and director of Generations with Vision, a ministry dedicated to strengthening families across the country. As a homeschooling father of five children, Kevin is a nationally recognized speaker on home discipleship and education, and hosts the daily Generations Radio program heard by homeschooling families around the world. He also is the pastor of Reformation Church (OPC) in Castle Rock, Colorado.
James McDonald
James is pastor of Providence Church (CPC) in Morton, Illinois, husband to Stacy, and father to 10 blessings. James is a nationally known conference speaker and author who seeks to see Christians strengthened through preaching and the written word. He enjoys giving historical impersonations that tie into his love for theology, history, and family.
Marcus Serven
Marcus and his family return this year to lead us in a deeper appreciation of psalmody, the singing of God’s Word. Marcus pastors Covenant Family Church (RPCGA) in Troy, Missouri. Marcus’ desire is to encourage families to apply Scripture to every area of life. It is all of the Bible for all of life, not just on Sundays, but throughout the week.
Music by Charlie Zahm
Charlie Zahm is one of the most popular soloists at Celtic music festivals and historical events anywhere east of the Mississippi. With a baritone voice some have described as “coming along once in a generation,” Charlie weaves providential moments of history with inspiration and passion.

Hello,
Our family is registered for your Reformation Day Faire and it sounds so exciting. Do you all wear costumes on Saturday? What is the proper dress for the events? Thank-you so much for your assistance.
Blessings,
Mrs.JoAnn Norris
Hi Mrs. Norris. Some families where period costumes on Saturday, some do not. Dress is casual – modest Christian attire as one would where for a typical church event. It will be wonderful to meet you!
Hello Pastor McDonald,
Thank-you for the information. We are looking forward to meeting ya’ll too.
Blessings,
Mrs. JoAnn Norris
