Description ::
The Book of James has been called the proverbs of the New Testament. Written by the Lord’s brother, it presents a clear message on how we are to live as Christians. The words of James, and the call to live out our faith, complement the grace and mercy by which we are saved. James clearly points out that works do not save us, but the saved will “work,” not for their salvation, but because we understand the grace of God and the truth that God uses us as ambassadors to bring the Good News to the world.
This is a much needed book in a time like ours where antinomianism, the belief that God’s Law has no bearing on how we live our lives, is so prevalent.
